As well as being good for society, there are significant business benefits to paying the real Living Wage. Over 30 Lewes businesses are now signed up to the Lewes Living Wage. Some may already qualify for accreditation, but aren’t aware of it. The current rate for the Living Wage for over 18s (Nov 20) is £9.50 per hour outside London, and the rate in the capital is now £10.85.
